1.Visit the official Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) website:

2.Click on the “Apply” tab to start the application process.
3.Choose the appropriate visa category (e.g., Tourist Visit) and fill out the online application form with accurate and complete information.
4.Upload any required documents, such as your passport bio page, passport-size photo, and travel itinerary.
5.Pay the visa processing fee online using a valid credit or debit card.

Required Documents:

1.Passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.
2.A digital copy of your passport’s bio page.
3.Passport-size photograph that meets the specified requirements.
4.Travel itinerary (flight details and accommodation information).
5.Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Sri Lanka.
6.Any other documents as requested by the Sri Lankan authorities.

Processing Time:

The ETA application process is usually quick, and you can expect to receive your visa approval electronically within a few hours or a few days.

Visa Validity and Duration:

The visit visa (ETA) for Sri Lanka is typically valid for 30 days from the date of arrival. Extensions may be possible, but you should inquire about this with local authorities once you’re in Sri Lanka

Entry Requirements:

Ensure you have a printed copy of your ETA approval to show upon arrival in Sri Lanka. Have a return or onward ticket to show your intention to leave Sri Lanka after your visit. Make sure you have sufficient funds to cover your stay and expenses during your visit.
